Sew Sweet

"Sew Sweet" is the name of this little wall hanging. I have worked out a way of using mylar for the needleturn applique heart - it is a heat-proof plastic (space age technology!) that can be ironed. This creates a lovely smooth and crisp edge that is so easy to stitch to the background fabric. The added bonus is that mylar can be used again for more hearts! Instructions are in the pattern.
For details go to Teddlywinks, Ebay or Etsy.
Happy stitching!
P.S. Sean and Josh went to Tesselaars Tulip Festival yesterday and this is what they brought home for me! I have to wait to see what colour they are - there are at least three buds.
