Lynette Anderson at The Patchwork Tea House

Last week Lynette Anderson was able to visit The Patchwork Tea House - and, I might add, it was a FRIDAY!!!!
Yes, I was working that day, so I was lucky enough to join in!
And get paid for it!
I love you Marilyn!!!
Lynette was thrilled to see what Charmaine, one of our Block of the Month Club ladies, had done with her button stitcheries - Charmaine was disappointed not to be there because she was away at the time. She has made a beautiful garden wall hanging - with pockets for seeds, gloves, etc. We have watched with interest over the weeks as Charmaine has been working on it and the result is gorgeous!
Lynette ran a workshop with sixteen very lucky and excited ladies who didn't stop chatting and laughing (until the tricky bits of stitching were necessary).
Here she is with another beautiful quilt, this time a festive one.
Here we are, the three of us at the end of the day.
Thanks for a lovely day Lynette!
You can read more at Lynette's blog.
The following two quilts were made by Marie from Maroochydore - she sent me a lovely card and photos of "Picnic Time for Teddy Bears", and "At the Bottom of the Garden".
I love getting photos!
Must get my beauty sleep now. Tomorrow it's a big day - 12 hours of stitching, eating, drinking, laughter and non-stop talk, talk, talk, talk.......
P.S. It's my quilting group - we are making quilts for SIDS, and whatever else takes our fancy.
P.P.S. Just for fun ..................................
