Quilt Aid 2010 Competition and Another Stitchery

Another stitchery completed! Website updates are due before the end of May, so you will be able to view the details then. www.teddlywinks.com.au
But don't worry, I'll let you know when the pattern is available!
Once again I am excited to be taking part in the QuiltAid 2010 Block of the Month program, to raise funds for the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia. www.quiltaid.com.au
"The Greatest Gift" is a gorgeous quilt of 12 blocks, each block created by an Australian designer, using the Robyn Pandolph "Beach House" fabrics. The patterns and fabrics will be available from twelve on-line shops – each shop will have one block. Each shop will also design a different finishing kit, so once you have completed all twelve blocks, you can choose from twelve different ways of putting your quilt together. It is a wonderful way of creating something beautiful, at the same time helping the women in the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital.
If you go to Helen's blog, www.hugsnkisses.typepad.com you will be able to view all blocks, and enter the competition - see if you can name the designer of each of the 12 blocks. A winner will be drawn from the comments on the last day of May and they will win a complete set of block patterns and one finishing kit pattern of their choice (no fabrics included, patterns only).
So go for it girls! Everyone loves to win a prize!
Liz
