Out for morning tea with "The Girls".
Out for lunch with different "The Girls".
Out for tea (shortly) with "The Nuff Nuffs", as we so affectionately call our long-time friends. When we get home tonight I'll be all "fed up"!!!!
More QCE news - congratulations to The Patchwork Tea House for receiving the award for most professionally run patchwork shop in Victoria!!!!!! And congratulations to Patchwork with Gail B for receiving the award for best patchwork shop in Victoria!!!!!! These awards were voted for by the suppliers in the business, not the general public. Well done to everyone!
I always come home from these trade shows with a warm fuzzy feeling - there are so many lovely people in the business. Helen Stubbings from Hugs & Kisses was there - she is the beautiful lady who supplies me with iron-on transfers for some of my patterns. Her daughter Molly was with her. Great to catch up with both of them.
I also chatted to Tim from Lloyd Curzon Textiles who has also been a great help to me over the last couple of years.
I have finished a couple more blocks from Sylvia's Bridal Sampler - "Broken Dishes" and "Lemoyne Star" (please ignore the wonky bits!).
Bye for now,
Liz

Liz would you happen to know the name of the fabric you've used in the 'broken dishes' block?? I have a friend who's after some. She bought a quilt kit a while ago and it's short some of the blue.
By the way, your blocks are great, love the star :o).
Hugs,
Joy :o)
