Chocolate Mug Cake

My friend Heide sent me this recipe - it must be doing the email circuit! I felt a snack attack looming, so I grabbed the biggest mug we have (David's "King of the Remote" mug), and gave the chocolate cake a road test!
You be the judge!

5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake (the most dangerous cake of all!)
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract and your favourite tipple
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to your largest mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips, vanilla extract and a drop or two of your favourite tipple, then mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. Add cream, ice cream or custard if you are particularly hungry!
EAT! (This can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe of all? Because now you are only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

As for - " The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!" - this is my chocolate mug cake in it's creation! A bit like the little pot that would not stop cooking, if you are familiar with the children's story!
